General approach to commissions:

Agree to the size of the work, media and subjects.

Identify research that would be required by the artist if not provided by the customer.

Establish a price for the artwork. Price is dependent upon size of the piece, number of subjects, full body vs partial body, etc.

Customer pays 25% of the price at the beginning of the commission.

The artists provides images of work in progress to ensure the work meets the customer's expectations and to obtain feedback if changes are desired.

At a point where the composition is defined and the image is well established the customer will confirm acceptance of the work in progress with a second payment of 25% of the agreed upon final price.

Upon completion of the piece the artist will send an image of the piece for final acceptance by the customer. If requested, the artist will make reasonable finale changes to the piece. When the customer is satisfied with the piece the customer will pay the final 50% of the price and the artist will ship or deliver the piece to the customer.
