Warren MacKenzie was an American craft potter who influence generations of potters, including my wife. Warren allowed me to take a series of photographs as studies for this portrait.
About Edward Pearce
I have been an Interpretive Volunteer in Parks since March 2018 with 2,000 service hours logged. From March 1 through May 8 2020 I served as the Artist in Residence at Stones River National Battlefield. On May 2019 I was offered the ongoing Artist in Residence position at Gateway Arch National Park. I was the Artist in Residence for Horseshoe Bend National Military Park in Alabama from March 10 through May 10 2019. From June through August of 2018 I was a Resident Volunteer at El Morro National Monument in New Mexico. The position was part Artist in Residence and part Interpretive volunteer working with the Interpretive staff on the trails and in the visitor center.
